Power, Voltage, and Dimensions—Plain Talk
The heart of it is a shortwave infrared halogen tube, usually set at 2500W. It runs on 400V instead of standard 230V, and here’s why that matters: higher voltage means lower current for the same power. Lower current lets you use thinner wiring, smaller contactors, and cuts down on voltage drop along those long, fast lines. The tube is about 300mm long—just enough to match the width of most screen-printed glass panels without overhang. That keeps the heat focused where it should be: on the coating, not on the machine frame.
Material and Design—Built to Perform
The quartz envelope has a special coating that reduces glare and boosts infrared transmission. The payoff? Operators can see clearly, and the film temperature stays steady without hot spots. The halogen fill responds instantly—full output in seconds. That means you can pulse-dry and avoid overheating the glass. And the R7s connector? It’s a solid, direct fit that locks the tube end-to-end, with contact pins that handle repeated heating and cooling cycles. It’s a drop-in replacement in most fixtures, so swapping tubes on the line doesn’t mean rewiring anything.
Why This Works for Screen-Printed Glass
On screen-printed glass, the module dries ink and protective coatings fast, with even coverage across the whole panel. The compact design frees up space, so you can stack processes or add a second print station without expanding the line. Now, the trade-off: that 2500W density needs a properly sized cooling path and good thermal shielding around the zone.
